The Provincetown Yacht Club will hold its third annual sailboat racing tune-up day on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 starting at 10:00 AM. The weather day for this event is Wednesday, June 26. 

Members, visiting mariners and non-members are welcome. You can charter a Rhodes 19 from Flyers Boats https://www.flyersboats.com. 

This year the emphasis will be on downwind tactics and leeward mark rounding. The course will be windward/leeward with a closed line.

There will be a debrief in the conference room of the Provincetown Public Library about one hour 30 minutes after the finish of the last race. The library is located at 356 Commercial Street. 

We will be recording video and taking notes from the committee boat and the mark boat.

The main goals of the exercise are tactics, sail trim and boat handling: 1. Starting on time in clear air; 2. Rounding; 3. Finishing.
